Do I qualify?
All applicants undergo medical screening, blood tests, and a psychological assessment to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both donor and recipient.
If you’re unsure whether you qualify — we encourage you to apply. Our team will guide you every step of the way 💛
Each application is reviewed individually, however, most egg donors meet the following criteria:

Woman | Age 19 - 30
Egg donors should be between 19 and 30 years old. This age range helps ensure the best outcomes for both the donor and the recipient family.

Healthy Lifestyle
Maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle helps support a successful donation cycle and ensures the best possible outcome for recipients.

Completed Matric
Donors must have successfully completed and passed matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification. This helps us ensure donors are responsible and able to understand the donation process.

Non-Smoker & Drug-Free
Donors should not smoke or use recreational drugs, as these can affect egg quality and overall health.

Good Physical Health
Donors should be in overall good physical health, with no significant hereditary medical conditions that could be passed on genetically.

Reliable & Committed
The donation process requires attending medical appointments and following treatment instructions. We look for donors who are reliable, committed, and able to complete the process.

Emotional & Psychological Wellbeing
Egg donation is an important and generous decision. Donors should feel emotionally ready and comfortable with the process and will undergo a psychological screening as part of the journey.

Willing to Undergo Medical Screening
All donors must be willing to complete medical tests, fertility screening, and blood tests to ensure their safety and the wellbeing of the recipient family.
Why is BMI important?
A healthy BMI helps ensure that your body responds safely and effectively to the fertility medications used during the egg donation process. It also helps reduce potential risks during treatment and the egg retrieval procedure.
Maintaining a healthy BMI supports good hormonal balance and egg quality, which helps give intended parents the best possible chance of success while keeping your health and safety a priority.
